Kate saw a dog barking on a quiet street corner. The dog was friendly and started talking to her right away. He told her his name was Bob and that he loved spending his days wandering around the city, meeting new people.
Shocked, of course, Kate looked at Bob, and immediately liked him. They began talking about their lives. Delighted, she told him about her volunteer work at the library and how she loved reading books, while Bob told her about all of his adventures traveling around town. They talked for hours, losing track of time, until it was getting dark.
Disappointed, Kate said goodbye to Bob and promised to meet him again soon. She couldn’t wait to tell her friends about the amazing talking dog she met on the street corner!
